6 Months Married...

to the most amazing man in the universe. I love Chad more than anything in the world. I am blessed because he is great and reminding me that the feeling is mutual.

Friday was our 6 month anniversary. Its hard to believe that is has already been six months since we were sealed for time and eternity in the St. George Temple. I'm grateful for this every single day of my life.

To further prove how amazing Chad really is, this was how yesterday went:

We woke up to Chad's work phone ringing. He took the call out front and I promptly fell back asleep and didn't think anything of it. When he came back in he told me that they gave him an install for noon and that he first had to go to the office but would be able to come home for a few minutes before he had to leave for the job. Again, I was half asleep and everything seems just as usual so I hadn't thought anything was different than every other work day. So Chad left and when he came home I was surprised that he hadn't gone to the office at all... instead he brought me these lovelies:

When I asked when he was going to go to the office since he hadn't when I thought he was, he told me that he told the office to "shove it" and that he didn't want the job at noon, or any jobs for the rest of the day. I was confused since Chad isn't exactly the type to be so rude to his employers and risk loosing his job. He then let on that two weeks earlier he requested the day off but kept it a surprise for me so we could have our 6-month anniversary to spend the whole day together! I LOVE surprises and I couldn't have thought of a better one :) We decided a great way to start our day together was to go to the beach! For the first time since we've been here we didn't just hang out but we actually got in the (still freezing) water. After a few minutes we were numb and having a blast. We jumped around the waves a lot and after getting trashed by a huge wave be decided to head back in. After we warmed up we went back home to shower and change.

After resting up and getting ready at home for a bit, we went out to the Irvine Spectrum Center which is a huge outdoor mall. We ate some dinner at Red Robin and watched some live local musicians outside playing a bunch of Beatles songs. Then we went to see 17 Again (I wanted to see it before but we missed out before it left theaters and I was bummed but then we found a $2 theater that was still playing it). It was really funny and a great way to top off our fun anniversary celebration. After TONS of fun and a much needed chance to hang out together and for Chad to take a break it was such an awesome day!

P.S. Thanks Chad for being such a thoughtful, loving and handsome husband :) Love you always and forever!
