I don't mean to become so nonexistent in the blog world lately. In fact, I'm alive and well when it comes to exploring everyone else's blogs but I've been so bad about posting lately. My main excuse it having little to report on. Also, I always feel boring when I post a picture less update and I keep forgetting to snap some photos when we do happen to be out and about. Here is a quick update on what Chad and I are up to...
Still in California and SOOO ready to go home. I'm grateful that we both have jobs but our roller coaster schedule is getting a little old. One day we get to see each other for hours and hours, others it seems like we only get a few minutes together for the whole day.
I hope (dream and pray) we'll have a more set schedule come this Fall.
Rosie is growing tons but cute as ever. She doesn't really look like a bunny... or anything specific to be honest but she is fluffy and cute. So fluffy, in fact, that she could barely see through the fur that was falling over her eyes. That is, until Chad gave her a little trim and now she has a mohawk. Defiantly the cutest/most hardcore bunny rabbit ever!
Yesterday we went down to San Diego for the first time since we've been down here. Misty, Nate and the boys are down here for a week and we had fun hanging out at the beach and condo with them. Chad helped to boys catch little crabs (not just sand crabs but legit little pincher crabs). The extent of my helping was holding the bucket they were kept in for a few minutes. After finding quite a few little sea friends they let them back in the wild so we could head inside. Another cool thing they discovered and showed me were TONS of live starfish clinging to the posts under the pier. It was awesome to see so many huge starfish.
On the way home from San Diego we stopped by the temple. It was gorgeous of course but we were bummed to find out the gates were already closed! We took a few pictures from outside the gate but we plan on trying to head down there again sometime this summer when they are open.
Wednesday Chad and I are both off work to go to Disneyland with Misty, Nate and the boys! I can't wait for my second Disneyland trip of the summer (and my life). It will be fun to have another vacationy day where Chad and I can better enjoy California for the fun it can be. I hope its not too crowded and hot but it will be a blast no matter what!
My birthday is in a couple weeks and what does that mean? Another trip to Disneyland of course! Heidi, Spencer and their boys are coming to visit for labor day weekend which means we will have family here to celebrate my birthday with us! Everyone knows that I could never get tired of Disney-anything and since I've never been to Disneyland prior to this summer I am glad to get the chance to explore and enjoy a new Disney experience!
Here is our update for now.
I'll try to add some pictures soon!
